Forums - Gaming - Biggest PlayStation fan wants a switch.

I have  been with  sony since  the ps1,own more then 1500 physical  PlayStation  games.

Love japanse  games and indies.

Has a weird strong  loyalty  feeling ( with everything  not just gaming)

And tbh never really  cared  that much about  Nintendo  games.

But Lately  i have  been changing.

Instead  of spending  500-600 on games  that i dont  even  have time to play i now spend max 100 a month.

Instead  of buying  everything  at launch i look at the  games i truly  want  and  wait  for pricedrops on everything  else.

Quality  above  quantity  i guess.

Since i saw the switch my interest  was piqued, it genuinely  looks cool and the portability  is a nice  feature ( i'am  not a handheld  gamer!)

After  seeing  the new zelda i was blown away, on ps4 i would  have bought  it like crazy, and i keep thinking.

" why i'am  not playing  it then? Why keep soo loyal its not like i cant  play both?"

But i do believe  buying  a system  for a couple  of games is not  worth  it,and lets first say this yes switch is getting  the Japanese  support, but soo does  sony in a much bigger way.

But games like zelda, xenonblade, mario kart, and who knows maybe( hopefully)  also a port of bayonetta 2 is really  itching my gaming senses..

I can't  wait  what more games Nintendo  willannounce  at e3 and in the future and what japanesw exclusives  it will  get.

Edit : i also love to he fact Nintendo  puts gameplay  and performance  above  graphics.

I loveeee the  switch  boxes(psp)

And i like the idea of  cartridge.

It may not  be now,or tomorrow , but i do want a switch....i want  that zelda 0.0

The system has a lot of appeal to general video game enthusiasts, so I'm not surprised. Lots of PS or XBox owners want one after being shown one.

So, are you the self-proclaimed "biggest PlayStation fan?". Well, it's good that your extreme loyalty to a single corporation is lessening at least, it'll let you enjoy more games!

Zelda is amazing. Its worth buying a Switch for.

I know all the gameplay  i saw looks soo good, absolutely  a game i would  love, but i disagree spending  300+ bucks on a system  for  one game is not worth  it, expecially  since  ps4 is getting  like a tsunami  of awesome  games.

A 250 switch would be perfect, or a 300  with pro controller and zelda!

Even if you're the biggest fan of one company, it's okay to buy and play on other systems, haha. I'm a big Nintendo fan, but I still just enjoy games in general. I'm about the same though, in that a console needs a certain amount of games before I consider buying it. Time is also becoming an issue too.

Well maybe in a few years.

Ok dude go get it

Switch will have more crossover with the PS/XBox audiences than the Wii U or 3DS did IMO. Those were basically strictly "Nintendo boxes", Switch can be more. Doesn't mean it's going to be some radical cross over, but definitely more than in the past.

Switch has more appeal to a general hardcore gamer than either the Wii U or 3DS did.

I think the sales of software on Switch will be more akin to the N64 too where other genres like shooters, action games, sports games, and so on were able to do well, it wasn't just all party/dance/fitness games + LEGO and Nintendo stuff.

I think if you were to try Splatoon 2, ARMS, Xenoblade 2 and Mario Odyssey you'd enjoy them and find more value in the system for yourself. You never know what you like until you try it. Keep being open minded! I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.
