After the Direct, we had a lot of new information be shared. We also know we have a decent amount of characters.
What are your thoughts on the game now?

Pretty ace, day one for sure. It looks like tons of fun, it has a nice quantity of launch content (though I still wait to see some complains about 10 fighters, ignoring the fact that swapping and changing arms make them pretty dynamic), and free post-launch content. What's not to love?

They're trying to be the next Splatoon so damn hard, lol, copying the launch model and marketing to an inch...
The game itself looks pretty good, though.
Bet with PeH:
I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.
Bet with WagnerPaiva:
I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.
Loved what I saw. Saw gamexplains preview that they posted after the direct and Andre said it was the most fun he have had at a preview since the splatoon previews. I'm sold.
Looks awesome. getting it for sure even tho I don't have a Switch yet. Also a very pretty game.
This game is supposed to be Nintendo's Killer instinct or Street Fighter (all age appropriate fighter game). I'm really not excited about the two upcoming IP's and feel like Nintendo is wasting valuable resource on Arms and Splatoon 2. Kids friendly version of fighter genre and FPS genre. I wouldn't care if there was something else coming that I really enjoy before this holiday season.

I think Nintendo's new marketing is very effective. In all honesty, I'd probably do the same thing if I were them.
Before: Ehhhh, it looks good. But, I'm not sure. I still need to see more content and material.
After: Sold!

Certainly interesting and I am curious what will come from sales.
The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
