I don't know about DS but the Wii sold 2,470,000 in it's fist 6 months.

right opinions? how can a opinion be right or wrong? and I hope nintendo makes a few good games so I can buy their consoles at least on playstation I have the best third party games to play :)

True, at least now I don't even have time for those games... at least while playing BoTW I don't.

 

But it's always nice to see people with inside information. Tell me, wich of those game got launched on Wii and DS? Since they both sold well above 100 million, one would assume at least CoD and RDR (available at the time) were responsible for both of them's success right?

The only thing I know is that cod is one of the most succesful game franchises in the moment and rdr is one of the highest rated games in the last few years both games highly anticipated both games not coming to switch (right now)

Doesn't matter. Nothing matters with these sales until maybe 2022, that's when the real fight starts. Don't talk to me till then, I won't listen.

I feel that's going to be the most interesting comparison going forward. The Wii maintained its momentum for an incredibly long time (before Nintendo shot its legs off), I wonder if the Switch will be able to have that staying power.

this is just US, it doesnt include Canada/Mexico.

Thats probably about/more than 700k WW for April which is good. Another thing to consider is march probably stole some of april shipments. As 2mil went to 2.7mil for the forecast
