What a mess this thread turned out to be. It's a free chat and all, but who are all these people putting in their two cents without even owning a PS4?

Man, I had no idea that me deciding to run for the thread would lead to this But in any case, time to get serious again:

- I am still in the running. It is a shame that Sword dropped out the way he did, I in no way intended it to get as heated as it did. I just wanted to do something positive for this community, and I was getting great encouragement and help from my friends here. Sword, I just want to let you know that no matter what happens, you'll be welcome in my thread.

- Also, ClassicGamingWizzz, I can understand your suspicions, and yes, I am in a group chat with many of the people that have supported me here (though there are others who chose me who are not part of the group chat). However, I am merely a member of the chat group, I do not have any special sway in what the other members decide to do. Yes, I do get along with Jason and Versus, but we've also had our disagreements and differences in the past. In fact, both of them have argued against me running for this thread. Now, I do have others who want me to take it over, in fact without slade6alpha's extreme encouragement or Ryuu96's advice/help, I would not have had the courage to run for this thread. But as with Sword, I want to let you know that you'll be welcome in the new thread, if I take it over, and I'll greatly appreciate constructive criticism, if you have any. 

- To anyone else reading this, please give your input if possible! Yes, it's very unfortunate, what has transpired throughout the day, but we can still attempt to salvage something out of this. If you want me to take it over, please state why you'd feel I'm a good fit. If you don't think I am, I'd also appreciate your feedback, so I can attempt to improve myself.

Remember the thing I did on the Vgchartz discord where I shared a screenshot of a message you sent to me on Vizioneck that really annoyed you?  There was a shitstorm and a meltdown (by lots of other users) over it and you took the moral high ground regarding me because it "shouldn't" have been posted by me.  

Well I guess that moral high ground is gone now that you've just "exposed" swordfish in the same way. Just proves it though that you would have done the same to me like I said.  

Anyway on the topic of Vgchartz discord,  this is all hearsay but VGPolyglot is a very active user on there and mixes with a lot of non Sony fans.  I'd not be surprised if he's garnering votes over there because when I look at some of the non Playstation fans supporting him it looks like it. 

Now that's no problem but the Playstation nation thread should be run by a hardcore Playstation fan with only Playstation on his mind. Probably much higher chance a person like this would stay active and passionate.  All this talk of it should be a guy who units fans is rubbish. That's obviously not what nation threads are created for. 

So with that in mind I think it should be between banana and swordfish.  I like VGPolyglot and I think he'd be good but I'm looking for hardcore ps fan with nothing but Playstation on their mind. That's my opinion anyway. 

Edit :and if the thread is run by someone who I feel is influenced by non Sony fans I'll take zero part in it. And I can imagine some of the other Playstation hardcore around here will be the same. We need a guy who we know is obsessed by nothing but Playstation.
