Anyway on the topic of Vgchartz discord,  this is all hearsay but VGPolyglot is a very active user on there and mixes with a lot of non Sony fans.  I'd not be surprised if he's garnering votes over there because when I look at some of the non Playstation fans supporting him it looks like it. 

 

Now that's no problem but the Playstation nation thread should be run by a hardcore Playstation fan with only Playstation on his mind. Probably much higher chance a person like this would stay active and passionate.  All this talk of it should be a guy who units fans is rubbish. That's obviously not what nation threads are created for. 

 

So with that in mind I think it should be between banana and swordfish.  I like VGPolyglot and I think he'd be good but I'm looking for hardcore ps fan with nothing but Playstation on their mind. That's my opinion anyway. 

 

Edit :and if the thread is run by someone who I feel is influenced by non Sony fans I'll take zero part in it. And I can imagine some of the other Playstation hardcore around here will be the same. We need a guy who we know is obsessed by nothing but Playstation. 

Who is a non PS fan in your eyes? I'd love to know. And no... it should not be run by a hardcore PS fan. It should be run by someone with PS interest who wants a place to foster positive PS discussion. 

What's your PSN? Again, I love all this about who is and isn't a PS fan. And lol you all need to stop mentioning discord (a place you were kicked off of for you insufferable behavior.) And again discord is not affliated with this site, ask Miguel.

I would rather have Swordf1sh back and given leadership to the PlayStation Nation thread. He deserves it.

Seems like there's been a lot of stuff happening in this thread(lots of cringe too i might add).

I don't know if I'll be sticking around Vgc yet, but I really dont have the time to be OP, so someone else willing to do it, can do it. From what I've seen Vgp already has a Mock up thread that looks nice, clearly shows he has quite the interest in making this thread work and put effort into it. Also, Bking is cool too, I can see him doing a good job as well, was a very active member in my thread. Either one could do a good job with it, but I'll vote for Vgp as he seems to be the more determined to do it and can be crazy active as well. If he does win, I'll support him if I decide to stick around and help him out with the thread.

My god, I havent been accompaning this thread, but it really went to hell fast.

In the end, the one that runs the thread must be someone commited to fostering it, and not be "the most hardcore PS fan" like some users here seem to be suggesting, like Kerotan.And what a hardcore PS fan would be anyway?A user that only play on PS and talk trash about other companies?Not to mention those conspiracy theories about garnering votes in other places.Just... stop.

At this point and rate, you guys will never reach a concenssus.With the candidates being already clear, I think the mods should just run a vote in a separate thread(so that people know the vote is going on and not be buried beneath this discussion), or the mods make a poll betwenn themselves and decide this, because otherwise this will keep on going, and it has been what, almost a week this thread was created to discuss this?
