lol, when I saw the thread title, my first thought was "maybe they are porting their unannounced Wii U game"
It's probably just the Rabbids game. As much as I'd love for it to be BG&E2, I don't think those Switch-exclusive rumors were true. I asked Emily Rogers about it a while ago and she said this: "I don't know much about it, but those rumors about it being a Switch exclusive were totally bogus".

My exact thoughts.
Please excuse my bad English.
Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Wouldn't it be funny if that was exactly what happened? :D
I have heard rumors about that game since, what, last year? But never saw anything about it being done specifically for Switch.

Isn't it basically that Rabbids Mario RPG?
The Ubi Soft president basically thinks Switch is just another Wii "family console" and wants only cartoony/Just Dance shovelware type games for it, I think Ubi Soft missed the boat here.
If they had a decent shooter for the launch this time like Zombi U they would've sold a ton of those.

What now? The very first BGE2 trailer was released 8 years ago. It should be BGE2 instead of Mario x Rabbids if you consider how late Nintendo delivered the Switch development kits to third party developers.
