 lol ... what ? The only massive seller that I see this year left for MS is GoW2 , and yes , it will sell , but it wont push consoles in any significant ways . What else , lets see : NG2 will become a million seller , but its far from beeing enough , and ME again will be a million , maybe even 2 million seller , but agagin , the audience that whom will strive for the game allready own a 360 . Halo Wars could be another big seller , IF it comes out in 08 , and beeing a RTS game It wont sell far as much as H3 .

Now lets see what Sony has this year for console pushers : MGS4 will skyrocket PS3 sales at least in 2 regions ( and probably for a good couple of weeks even in Japan ) , GT5 is on the way , wich is again a major seller ( just look a Prologues sales ) . Killzone 2 an Ressistance 2 will probably both push sales up , especilaly in Europe and the US . LittleBig Planet is a hit or miss title , so I wont say nothing about it . Theres also Motorstorm 2 , wich helps the PS3 to get 2 major racers for the end of the year  . A great surprise would be if it would also get FFXIII in Japan this year , though again , no comment about that game for having no certain release date ...

Its called PR spin. You find an article and take words out of context and you get a different meaning.

Gamepro never reports any bad news on the PS3. All news on the 360 on Gamepro is mainly bad news.

No one mentioned that they said that all of there competitionn punched themselves out. That would include the Wii guys. So by the end of this year PS3 should be at the top of the mountain right?

Like them making a whole article on the Wii selling 3x more PS3s, and there will be one sentence that mentions 360 only selling 2-3 thousand units, or it's article on 6 things the 360 does better than the Wii and PS3, or it's list of what Sony has to do in order to stay afloat this gen.

You linked to an interview with a Sony PR figure. That's... not even close to what the thread title and original post are claiming.

Honestly, if you want anyone to take what you say seriously, you need to use some basic reading comprehension skills.

By seeing it in Gamepro news I thought Gamepro were responsible.

Steinberg blew it in that interview, fair and simple.
He was an ass and should appologize for his childish statements.
But; its not like he's the only console manufacturers PR spokesman who has trodden on bad paths.
