No matter who won the election, Comy was going to lose. 

The problem is that Trump praised Comy for the same action he is now firing him for.  In other words as usual, Trump word means nothing.  It changes as fast and fluid as the sea and always to his benifit.  Even if Comy firing is legit, talk about just bone headed timing just like firing Flynn or the list of other firings he has done.

Yeah assuming this was a normal firing this is wasn't planned through, well it's Trump so that's not surprising.

Basically saying "I'm firing him for something I praised him for on multiple occasions. We've been investigating him for a while but we didn't have a replacement ready. I promise this wasn't decided last minute. And the FBI ramping up the investigation to me days ago has nothing to do with this"

...Yeah it's hard to believe this is an honest firing.

So much so that he couldnt "not" have known how it would look.

Which would make any sane person not act such a way.

He was getting to close to something, or rattled someone with questions, and they reported back to trump... and he acted by fireing him. Its the most logical conclusion to draw, trump does not look innocent at all atm.  Now there needs to be a investigation, even more so than before.

Poor guy, the Dems wanted him fired when he was investigating Hilary's Emails and now he actually got fired for investigating Trump's associates connection with Russia.

Then again, not being in the firing line anymore must be a relief for Comey.
