f zero and wave race

Tsubasa Ozora

Keiner kann ihn bremsen, keiner macht ihm was vor. Immer der richtige Schuss, immer zur richtigen Zeit. Superfussball, Fairer Fussball. Er ist unser Torschützenkönig und Held.

+ f-zero

Wave race!!! Stop dicking around Nintendo, it's not funny anymore.

F-Zero. I still play GX every now and then to this day. It's been far too long since the last entry in the franchise and the blooming popularity of the Switch could make it possible.

MK9 actually, though I don't really have any thoughts for improvements :p

Definitely F Zero, given it's been so long since we had one. Given we're getting Mario Kart 8 DX on Switch, I'd prefer Nintendo All-Stars Racing after that- add in third party characters like Sonic, Mega Man, Pacman etc, it'd basically be 'Super Smash Kart'. Nintendo could co-develop or even out-source it completely to Sumo Digital, who've just finished SnakePass. Their Sonic racing games were the best non-Mario kart racers to appear, as far as I'm concerned.

Plus, I'd rather see Wave Race or 1080 ahead of a Diddy Kong Racing reboot. DKR is again very similar to Kart, and I think a Smash Kart/Nintendo All-Stars Racing game would be a better idea anyway, and probably more commercially successful.

If you want F-Zero just play Fast Racing RMX or the upcoming Redout!

MK9 is my vote, then DKR, then F-Zero, the amount of sales each game would get is in that same order too.

Except F-Zero would have the potential for far greater substance of content and production values.  And plays comletely different from Fast RMX and from what I hear Redout as well.  That's like saying, hey, you want a new Elder Scrolls just play Fallout 4!  Or, hey, you want a new Smash Bros, just play Ultra Street Fighter II!  They share a genre, they are not the same, and are not substitutes for each other.

Think nintendo should try to get their hands on a racer that's maybe a tad bit more car sentric. Something along the lines of burnout would be perfect, still arcady but at the same time something quite different from the mario karts and the diddy karts and the f zero.

Would be amazing with a new f zero though. 1080 is also somewhat of a racing game, and I would love to see that game return.
