Sony probably signed a contract with Atlus with the mainline Persona games. You would think they would have ported p4 on the hugely successful 3DS or Wii but nope, they opted for the dramatically less successful Vita. The same will happen with Persona 5. The main game will remain a Playstation exclusive but the IP Persona and its characters can go to other platforms, which is why you have Persona Q. 

It's not outside the realm of possibility, but i wouldn't bet on it right now. If ATLUS wanted the mainline Person series on a Nintendo platform, you'd think P4G would have made its way to the 3DS years ago, or the original to the Wii. They're both capable of running it without any in-game compromises, so you have to wonder why they never did. ATLUS themselves have no problems making games for both Sony and Nintendo platforms, so i wonder if Sony have some kind of deal with them for numbered Persona entries. That, or ATLUS just can't be bothered

If they make an "enhanced version" I hope they put the extra content and improvements as DLC to the original game, so I don't have to buy the whole game again...

This is literally my only concern with this whole thing, (well aside from losing one amazing exclusive obviosuly).
