Switch is getting a Shin Megami Tensei ain't that good enough?

I fee like the most we'll get on the Switch will be Persona 5 spin offs. Persona mainline games seem to be stationary in the Playstation brand, much like the SMT games being mostly available on Nintendo systems.

Well there's that tweet from then Atlus' PR manager saying P5 will never go to switch, PC or other platforms, and also the fact that no mainline persona games have ever touched any other platforms other than Playstation platforms regardless of the success of those other platforms(with the exception of the very first persona game that had a PC version).

Things change, and with Switch taking over Japan (and at least very respectable sales in the west), Atlus' good relationship with Nintendo I think it's quite probable.

I mean, it's not like you can blame anyone but Nintendo for losing Final Fantasy lol. 

This type of thread reminds me so much of when Soriku and so many others were certain that Kingdom Hearts 3 was going to be released exclusively on the Wii. A lot is being assumed about the coorelation of Nintendo hardware success and games leaving their competitor's platform.

Oh, no. Nothing about exclusivity coming from you. But there was a trend on VGC in 2007/8 where every new game or series had to be coming Wii because of how successful it was. Kingdom Hearts 3 was just one of the examples that was debated near endlessly.

I'm not saying it wasn't entirely Nintendo's fault for losing FFVII, I'm merely saying things change, especially when many factors chime in (great sales, easy porting, huge in Japan (:3), Atlus + Nintendo relationship, Vita death, etc).
