You're mixing up the patch and the DLC

The 1.2.1 patch is there to correct stuffs and add the possibility to change the language of the voices


The DLC pack, which willl be out this summer (I don't think we have a release date ATM), is a paid DLC that will add the Hard mode and other stuffs.

Just be careful not to play Zelda with hard on for more than four hours.

You can't, take care of it then play again.

The game is already hard enough for me.
