Unrealistic sports.

-Baseball with robots.
-Football with mutants
-Basketball with women 😉
-Punch Out!

I don't like sports games but I do like fun games!

I'm with you! The less realistic the sports game the better

Maybe we can make a arcade-y sports game generator?

Baseball with mutants!
Football with anthropomorphic animals!
Hockey with robots!
Basketball with vampires!
Rugby with dinosaurs!
Volleyball with monkeys!
Racing with cyborgs!
Boxing with mummies! Oh wait...
Archery with Uruk-hai!
Curling with the cast of Mama's Family!

Just mix and match

Well, I know a game that might be for you...

Quite a few genres in fact:

Beat-em-all (yeah I know it's beat-em up, but I think this fits the description better) like Streets of Rage, Double Dragon and so on

Arcade Racers, with and without weaponry

Turn-based Wargames like the Panzer General or battle Isle series. Waiting for new games in that genre basically for 20 years now (damn you RTS for killing them off!!!)

An ultrarealistic shooter like DEUS (has nothing at all to do with Deus Ex) or Robinson's Requiem. To elaborate: You had to constantly take care of yourself in hostile environnment, be it with clothing (you could die of cold and sickness), food (die of hunger, thirst and exaustion), first aid kit (you had to mend each wound separately, amputate an arm or a leg if it's beyond saving and risking spreading gangrenes, put on a cast if you broke something...) go into cardiac arrest if you overtax your body, could panic, need to rest and sleep, apply the correct antitoxins if poisoned... Basically new players die after several minutes because they are not used to so much realism, and there are over 30 ways to die in the games

Sports games without much realism or extra arcadey like Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe (Ice cream!), Botsoccer, Nintendo World Cup, Mario Smash Football

Classic RPGs in First person view with a party but without tile movement, like the later Might&Magic titles or Wizardry 8

Isometric 3d top-down, rpg's like Baldurs Gate?

Are making a comeback already right now. Wasteland 2, Torment: Tides of Numenera, Lords of Xulima and Pillars of Eternity... there's been quite a few games like that in the last 2 years.

Business simulations. They used to be all over the place. Today you just get cheap shot for smartphones. Not only do games like game dev tycoon miss far too many details, they are also so insanely easy that you can't lose, even when you try. I miss games where it's all about numbers and graphs. Games like capitalism where even small mistakes can fuck up your company for good.

Sure, there was Transport Fever, but I didn't like that game too much. The maps are way too small. No way in hell is it ever gonna get so complicated as in a nice round of Open TTD. So no point in not just playing that instead.

But well, I gave up hope long ago, it's just too much of a niche I guess. Aside from that, I would be totally down for a real nice new skating game. Skate 4 would be totally awesome. Sadly EA is the devil and they killed Black Box, so yeah...

Yeah, we only have a few like it in existence

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Forgot to mention that I'd also love tos ee more park and general sim games. I want a proper Sim City from EA, a decent Sims game that isn't a copy of 4 (which was broken up into loading screen after loading screen and silly little "stuff" packs).

4 player party games

Generally would like more strategy in my games.

Like

RTS (C&C, AoM)
Tactics styled Strategy Game (Disgaea. Dynasty Tactics)
Strategy Games (ROTK and NA)
Turn Based RPG (Persona)
Co-OP games (Divinity)

I listed all the games I currently enjoy, I just want MORE.

Old 3D Zelda. I know, not a genre, but with BotW changing the formula there's no other game that plays like it and I already miss it. Doesn't even need to be Zelda, just give me more games with that gameplay. Also, my second choice would be 3D platfomers but thankfully they're already coming back =P

I second this. BOTW was phenomenal, but I miss the traditional 3D Zeldas. I don't think we will ever get one again though.
