Then you're inviting even more comparisons when there's already some between the two series. It'll be a no-win situation because for many, it's tough to match Smash for what it has been able to do. Then you got the roster which is a whole different conversation.

Oh gawd no haha. I played the first one, erm.. it was okay at best. I did enjoy playing Isaac from Dead Space. But a sequel? its no Smash, lets bet honest here.

Agreed. My brother, sister and her husband and myself had tons of fun playing All-stars. The online was fun too.

I hope it's true. The first game asn't perfect but it had potential. They should start by getting their hands on more first party and less third party characters and go form there.

If they do bring it back, I hope they have other modes, like a Smash Bros style one. I enjoyed the KO system at first, but I grew tired of it over time. Plus, missing with a super just feels like wasted energy.

Also, faster pick up item speed would be nice. It felt so slow in the game...

Why do some people want a smash clone with its weird jumping from the edge of the screen to get back? They just have to do a mixture of health and supers and they're golden.

Dante was a good character in the first game. He and Raiden should be there. But more first party characters should also be there. Here are the ones that should be added:

Yes and I think a more realistic graphical tone would suit PlayStation well same way as cartoon graphics suit Nintendo well. Also I prefer 3D fighting game over 2D ones and there are fewer games in this genre so that would be awesome. Also it would suit PlayStation characters better as most of them started in 3D games.

I agree that first party charcetrs should be a priority. They also have a lot to choose from and would make for a very interesting game.

I still want a game with Sony characters that's like the movie Battle Royale. Choose a character and get dropped into a huge world where you get a random weapon from either of the franchises represented. Try to survive while hunting down your opponents(which would be other Sony characters)

I'm not a fan of Smash Bros, so another one like that would do nothing for me.

I wish it was more like smash, but yeah, a health system would do the job... since the super system just sucks!
