I played around with mine more and it actually never gets 3 bars unless I'm within 10 feet of my router, and even then it still fluctuates down to 2, but it has no problem connecting. I have an issue with both. My Switch located in the same location where my Wii U, Xbone, and Xbox 360 have sat and gotten perfect connect. But my switch either has 1 bar or won't connect.

Bummers, if you've already troubleshoooted as much as you can then best to send it to Nintendo now before ARMS/Splatoon release. They can be rather slow at sending your stuff back. Unfortunately this might mean you lose all your save data, but I'd say it's worth it to be able to play the best game ever.
