to be fair critics actually didn't love Splatoon, it only got like an 80 on Metacritic (which is solid, don't get me wrong, but not particularly good). I think its likely Mario Odyssey is another 90+ though just based on the amount of effort and care and polish Nintendo generally puts on their 3D Mario games (and how they've rated on average in the past).

frankly the two Nintendo published games remaining that I think are most likely to get 90+, assuming they do launch this year, would be Odyssey and then Xenoblade 2 (just based on how much Monolith Soft tends to kill it).

curious about how well optimized the Skyrim Remastered port will be on the Switch though, hopefully Bethesda has been quiet about it because they've been putting mega work into making it run perfectly on the Switch. If hypothetically it runs extremely cleanly on the Switch in handheld mode at like 3 hours battery life? could easily see that port getting a fantastic score because, again, Skyrim Remastered on handheld would be sick

Game reviewers were forced to judge Splatoon based on the content it had at launch, which only included one mode and like 5 maps. It got an 80 on its gameplay alone. One review site even updated their score from a 7 to a 9 a few months afterward because of how much content was added later on.

Funny fact, 2 years from now those will still be the best reviewed games on switch... and they're all Wii U games.

Here is point about best reviewed games until now in 2017. 

MK8 is great game and actualy become even better with fixed Battle Mode and much more tracks availible. You do realise that lotsa current and future Switch owners didn't had Wii U!?

There is nothing misleading about this list, this is list of best reviewed games in 2017. until now. I dont see how that has anything with PS1 or PS2 games are backwards compatible of some system.

Fact that Switch has top 3 from top 5 games of best reviewed games in 2017. until now, tells us that Switch has great start with quality titles.

Hardly and that doesn't have anything with fact, Mario Odyssey coming this holiday season and looks like around 95 game, also there will be some other great Switch games in next two years.
