I'm starting to see a circle forming against people not within the social justice one in terms of making anyone who tries to identify anyone who is a part of SJ as being "idiots" and people not worth talking to. I'm still waiting on the equality of this circle formation that points out the other side treating non SJ's like trash, but I guess this will end up as a subject where "they don't do it as much as people who call other's special snowflakes", which will get us nowhere.

I've also noticed that over the years, if I do not like what the other person likes when it comes to movements or twisting some form of media/game/artwork into something else, then I'm to be treated as a sub-human being.

I'm not going to go in depth because this forum is definitely not the place for that kind of discussion, especially with the way things are going.

It's a ridiculous overused term and based on my experience 90% of people that use it frequently are deeply stupid.

I'd not say that. Capitalism is the best way to get things going.

Take a baker refusing to serve a gay couple. Is blowing up Twitter and threating their lives going to do anything? You'll make just as much enemies due to your behavior as that bakers choices made him.

BUT if everyone decides to no longer purchase goods from them, then they will either change their ways or go out of business.

Too bad many of these SJW or other warriors for rights are selective in their outbursts. They will scream and boycott stores that carry a clothing brand cause it was made by cheap chinese labor, yet wait hours in line for an iphone which is probably worse conditions. They will bitch and moan about some billionaire not paying his taxes yet again buy things like iphone from Apple which is a huge offender of offshore tax evading practices.

Which leads to the problem of capitalism: in order to survive in a competitive marketplace, shady practices and exploitation are necessary. So, it'd be nice if we could just boycott them and drive them out of business, but when virtually every corporation is doing it, and when they own all the wealth, you either have to give in and participate, or die.

Doesn't to me. He actually just explained it quite well.  Legal justice is good. Social justice, especially when only one small group is determining what that actually entails, is not.

Personally, I think the biggest reason people may accuse it of SJW influence is probably more down to very poor writing.  Rey is shown to just naturally come across her Jedi skills with absolutely no training.  After the training we see Luke go through over the years, and even the training Anakin must have gone through under Ben, it just seems like a slap in the face. Almost like she girl powered her way to matching, and beating, Kylo, who must have had at least a decades worth of training.  Under Luke, and then under Snoke.  Not even hints of her using the force without her knowing it when she was all alone.  

It would have been much more forgivable if we had a quick scene of her reaching for something, while her back was turned, but it is just out of reach.  But then, it slowly moves towards her, without her noticing.  Or when she was trading for food. The guy could have given her a crap deal, but without knowing it, she uses the mind trick to bring his offer of food up.  Instead, we get her going 0-Jedi in basically one scene near the end.  Again, poor writing.

No idea why SJW would need to get brought up though. Just people looking to blame shitty writing.

Force awakens was one big copy/paste of A New Hope yet with everything bigger and instead of building a character up like Luke they gave us a Mary Sue in Rae.

And just as they very obviously tried to fix the plot hole in the death star weakness in Rogue One, I can see them trying to fix the mary sue problem in later movies. You know like a flashback showing her having been trained when she was young and somehow forgot/mind wipped and thus how she could do all she did. Still BS as Ben has a ton of training and is also a direct skywalker descendent. Unless Rae is some child Vader had like a week before death or another midiclorian miracle baby, she shoudl not only be less trained but have lesss potential than Ben. To not solely single out Rae though, Anakin as a kid was also quite the Gary Stu. But we all know the only good thign about the prequals was Obi-Wan, so no need to bring them up.

Anything can turn into a bad word. When people get sick and tired of some group or issue constantly popping up. Otaku has become that.

Justice in and of itself is a very good thing but social justice is a bad thing because it's become perverted by people pushing these ideas beyond reasonable boundaries.

Otaku is a derogatory term in japan perhaps but in the west, it's not.
