The idea of a SJW is someone who is completely unable to see the world outside of their causes to the point where they are nothing more than a cartoon of themselves. Everytime you speak with them it always comes back to one of their causes, even in the most insane ways. Everything is a slight against a protected group, no one gets the benefit of the doubt and anyone who disagrees with them is automatically a Nazi/Rape culture promoter/hate nature, etc.
It's actually quite funny if you're the type of person t laugh at peoples shortcomings.

Is this a strawman? It sounds like it to me.

Doesn't to me. He actually just explained it quite well. Legal justice is good. Social justice, especially when only one small group is determining what that actually entails, is not.

Important female roles and female leads weren't brought about by feminists and it definitely wasn't brought about by SJW's. Capitalism and a consistantly hightened morale system per generation are probably the biggest reasons. Conusmers will keep buying whatever they are willing to buy and companies will keep selling what makes money. Feminists aren't going to change that.
Also, what change have feminists brought about, really? There are many women's rights activists from the early 1900's who did more for women than any feminist or SJW group could ever possibly do today. Women's rights activists died fighting for equality and back then there was a lot of inequality. Feminists have barely changed a thing and as for SJW's....they are the ugly stepchildren of third wave feminists.
Naughty Dog didn't choose Ellie (from TLoU) to be the way she was due to feminism/SJW's so much as to sculpt her into the story in such a way that would elevate the premise and characters.

While I'm not going to go so far as to belittle anything feminists or SJW's or whoever is doing. Many of their so called "victories" are nothing to do with them but purely capitalism.
Takes recent Star Wars movies. Like everyone is getting cast with many minorities and female leads. Are they doing this because SJW's won or to apeas them or whatever you want to say? Hell no. In an interview one of the people in charge said they have a female lead to bring in female audiences. They know that the star wars fans will go and see the movie no matter who is cast becuase they are die hards. They have no fear of loosing them. Heck, the prequal trilogy proved that. If star wars fans still get hyped to the extreme on anything star wars related after the prequals, you know they are hooked for life regardless. So they cast females and minorities not for story/equality reasons but to draw in new fans. Plain and simple. I mean how many star wars toy commercials do you see these days that have a little girl staring in them? Or look at other disney movies. Namely allt he animated ones. Who is the lead in them? Girls. It's girls saving the day in the movies, not the princes anymore.
They are doing this cause they see an untapped market, not because they care about equality. All it takes is a leaked emails or billing rights, ect ot show that any equality talk in Hollywood is just a public face.

Personally, I think the biggest reason people may accuse it of SJW influence is probably more down to very poor writing. Rey is shown to just naturally come across her Jedi skills with absolutely no training. After the training we see Luke go through over the years, and even the training Anakin must have gone through under Ben, it just seems like a slap in the face. Almost like she girl powered her way to matching, and beating, Kylo, who must have had at least a decades worth of training. Under Luke, and then under Snoke. Not even hints of her using the force without her knowing it when she was all alone.
It would have been much more forgivable if we had a quick scene of her reaching for something, while her back was turned, but it is just out of reach. But then, it slowly moves towards her, without her noticing. Or when she was trading for food. The guy could have given her a crap deal, but without knowing it, she uses the mind trick to bring his offer of food up. Instead, we get her going 0-Jedi in basically one scene near the end. Again, poor writing.
