Takes recent Star Wars movies. Like everyone is getting cast with many minorities and female leads. Are they doing this because SJW's won or to apeas them or whatever you want to say? Hell no. In an interview one of the people in charge said they have a female lead to bring in female audiences. They know that the star wars fans will go and see the movie no matter who is cast becuase they are die hards. They have no fear of loosing them. Heck, the prequal trilogy proved that. If star wars fans still get hyped to the extreme on anything star wars related after the prequals, you know they are hooked for life regardless. So they cast females and minorities not for story/equality reasons but to draw in new fans. Plain and simple. I mean how many star wars toy commercials do you see these days that have a little girl staring in them? Or look at other disney movies. Namely allt he animated ones. Who is the lead in them? Girls. It's girls saving the day in the movies, not the princes anymore.
They are doing this cause they see an untapped market, not because they care about equality. All it takes is a leaked emails or billing rights, ect ot show that any equality talk in Hollywood is just a public face.

The solution then, seems to be the elimination of capitalism. That way true progress can be made.

I'd not say that. Capitalism is the best way to get things going.
Take a baker refusing to serve a gay couple. Is blowing up Twitter and threating their lives going to do anything? You'll make just as much enemies due to your behavior as that bakers choices made him.
BUT if everyone decides to no longer purchase goods from them, then they will either change their ways or go out of business.
Too bad many of these SJW or other warriors for rights are selective in their outbursts. They will scream and boycott stores that carry a clothing brand cause it was made by cheap chinese labor, yet wait hours in line for an iphone which is probably worse conditions. They will bitch and moan about some billionaire not paying his taxes yet again buy things like iphone from Apple which is a huge offender of offshore tax evading practices.
