Switch is nice to have as long as its not your primary console. So yeah, it will continue to sell but obviously sales will decline once demand is met for the small library at the moment.

Just remember this is a casual gamer device so Switch should have great holiday sales and a better library by then.

Only the biggest non-Nintendo fighting game and the biggest non-Nintendo open world game. The modern day game industry is getting the shit kicked out of it by 30 year old games and one-man indie devs, lol.

Okay, I'll give you Minecraft is a big deal because it will sell millions over time. But its not gonna push Switch sales when many people own it on various platforms already. Its more like a game people will buy because they already have a Switch.

Ultra Street Fighter II is not a big deal, its just a port with a few tweaks of a cheap PS360 game. Frankly, there would be more hype for a port of USFIV. Of all the games they could have port to Switch, Street Fighter II was low on the wanted list.

I didn't play Elder Scrolls Oblivion back on PS3/360, that doesn't make it a new game. It's a known quantity that has been available for years.

Erm, you sure you wanna go on record with that, considering the Switch has already reached around 20% of the Wii U's total sales, and this is in March/April, with no Pokemon game in sight?

Not only will Switch do far better than Wii U, it'll sell even better than Wii. And you can quote me on that.

For all people who skipped PS3 and bouth PS4 and TLoU, TLoU was new game, same thing will be now with Switch and MK8D. So, yes, MK8D will definitely have effect on Switch sales, because its great and must have game.

There's more behind it. This game lines up perfectly with games like Wonder Boy, Super Bomberman R, Blaster Master Zero, PuyoPuyo x Tetris, Monster Boy, King of Fighters, Metal Slug, and/or Sonic Mania.

When WiiU launched (end of 2012) I was predicting 65M total sales, when most people thought that was an incredibly low number. In the beginning of 2014 (and you can check my signature on that) I was dramatically adjusting it to 25M, and again most people thought that it was too low (almost hateful). Now we all know it will end at around 15M.

Switch is revolutionizing as much as WiiU and I'm only predicting more for it because it sold more than twice (on its first week) than Wii or WiiU.

But I want you on the record too. Make a prediction for Switch total sales by the end of 2020. Then we'll see who's closer.

The's one problem with your prediction, the portable market, the is only one platform that currently will provide gaming for portable market consumers in future and all the 3DS and Vita userbases need to go somewhere for that, Switch isn't revolutionizing it's an evolution which can be just as good. By 2020 a significant number of them would have migrated to Switch which will be above your 20m prediction.

Switch will double Wii U numbers. Is impossible it to sell around 20M. I don't believe Switch will pull a Wii, but there is no way it end with only 20M
