The Switch sold 1.3m 'WW'? That's not really that good when you compare it to the launches of the XB1 and the PS4.

hmm? this site has PS4 & XBO each around 1.1 million first week.

1.1 Million in NA alone, not globally.

PS4.......

Also the ps4 numbers are silly.

It was at 290k the week before... then Horizon Releases and sales DROP to 232k? xD

Any adjustments to PS4 from previous weeks? No way HZD did not sell any PS4's, 233k seems way too low for such a big launch.

Good start for the NS. I'm guessing a lot of people are gonna pick up MK8Deluxe this month, both first timers and some double dippers. Then you got June and July for two big releases. It's gonna be super interesting the next few months. Wishing the NS the best.

Agree, but maybe they are trying to adjust previous overtracking, idk

Still, we shouldn't be far off from real numbers. We will see when Sony announces a new milestone

It definitely wasnt supply constrained in Europe.

It never sold out on any Amazon sites, probably a bad thing for Scalpers who bought 20 of those consoles.

What are you talking about? It was sold out on Amazon UK for over a month after release - the Grey version only got back in stock TODAY. Maybe in some tiny Eastern-Europe markets it wasn't sold out, but they don't particularly matter for sales.

Yea from watching the markets Europe has been the worst market for restocking of the Switch after launched there was absolutely nothing for at least 3 weeks compared to Japan getting like 40k a week and America seemingly getting small busrts of stock, Then there was a few what seemed like very small shipments, It wasn't until the Sunday gone (9th April) that retailers in the UK at least have been able to have stock and all just the NEON Red/Blue sku. - Just to add Amazon and ShopTo do still actually have stock if anyone want to grab it.

Compared to the competition (PS4 and Xbox One) it's not a big launch imo.
Anyway, congrats to Nintendo for successfully launching the Nintendo Switch.

Decent launch for Switch.

Excellent regular week for ps4 too!

Its definetly more of a marathon than a sprint at this point. That said x1/ps4 are some of the very best launches of all time (especially ps4). And switch can only sell what they ship. Console is still in demand (supply restraint).

Dont forget looking at this its non holiday and its beating many records (in europe at least) compared to other nintendo consoles/etc
