I really want to see if Splatoon 2 has enough new content and gameplay upgrades to be considered a sequel. So far, it seems like the same game with new weapons and stages, and reworked controls for the Switch

Great, good timing, exactly two months before E3. :)

Nice. Hope to see some form of bundle announced, the console is still quite annoying to find in stores. Also, with MK8, Splatoon 2 and ARMS, they'll have to talk about their online services.

Too early for bundles, we will most likely have some bundles around holiday season. I think they don't need to talk about their online service until they start charging for it.

Perfect timing for me... to go to sleep and read about it the next morning.

In any case, I doubt they'll show anything else beyond those two games. E3 is in two months and they'll probably keep the surprises for then.

Wasn't it in 2015 where Nintendo revealed quite a few new games a month before E3, only for us to discover they weren't saving any "real surprises" for E3?

I was hoping for a more broader direct to hear more switch news, but hey, these are great too. I'm eager to hear more about ARMS. I'll just have to wait for E3 for more Switch info..

Im expecting to hear about more modes and the single player content for both games, and more characters for ARMS, and also their release dates.Outside of that, not much more.I think they will quickly talk about some 3DS games, more as a reminder than anything else, and maybe talk about some Switch games, in the same manner as the 3DS ones.

Having said that, I think this Direct will last a bit longer than normal.Im expecting around 30 minutes for this one.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

About time. I know these niggas at Nintendo like it nice and slow but they're lazy as a mothafucka.

This thread is pretty silent for a Nintendo Direct announcement, so let's predict stuff shall we? :P

My predictions:

- New Splatoon 2/ARMS info (Obviously). Likely to include release dates.
- 3DS info: Ever Oasis, Pikmin, Fire Emblem Echoes, Box Boy 3, maybe other games here and there.
- More Zelda amiibo (SS Link, Fierce Deity Link, TP Link).
- One or two surprise games for Switch.
- Maybe some info on Zelda DLC.
- Maybe some system update news showing off new features.

Edit: Really hoping we get some Virtual Console news, or at least some My Nintendo rewards for the Switch.
