Here is my list of my top 50 movies of all time from 2013 a couple could be replaced with movies I have seen since then but its still a fairly accurate list.

As a bonus here is my top 50 movies from 1980s that list is pretty much set in stone. I probably would add Purple Rain as a honorable mention since I just saw it for the first time after Prince died. The acting in it is a bit sub par but pretty much the entire cast had no previous acting experience. The music and the soundtrack is outstanding. Purple Rain is still my favorite Prince album and one of the best albums from the 80s.

I personally preferred the first Kung Fu Panda. That movie was really good. Some of my other favourite animated films include The Emperor's New Groove, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Toy Story, Monster's Inc. and The Incredibles.

Focusing specifically on animated films, my top favorites to date include The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, Wall-E, Inside Out, Grave of the Fireflies, and the first two Ghost in the Shell anime movies.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
