Based on that post I think you're seeing it from the perspective of Switch running a PS4 game well. But its really Switch and PS4 running a Wii U game, PS4 obviously having more room for polish. |
I'm not basing it off anything. As long as it looks and runs well, I am fine. Doesn't matter to me if it's a Wii U game, PS4 or PC game.
You can notice the resolution differnce... but apart from that looks pretty much the same.
Surprised theres any differnce at all though, game doesnt look like it should be very demanding.
Why are people constantly comparing all these indies and non graphical power house games? Its a damn lego game lol people trying to make the Switch seem powerful....than compare a game that actually takes power

Well Snake Pass was pretty demanding for the PS4 to run, though it may be more due to lack of optimization. Steep will be a good comparison when it releases on Switch.
Differences with the Wii U version is obvious, but not so much between the PS4 and Switch, so that's good
As a side note, the patch isn't 13GB on the Switch, but it doesn't seem to improve load times

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
Performance for those interested;
PS4: 1080p
Switch Docked: 1080p
Switch Un-docked: 720p
(Have yet to find confirmation on PS4 frame rate, but both Switch modes target 30fps)

Looks identic, The Switch version has improved a lot from WiiU, which is nice.
