Well, many Kickstarted games got really good reviews. Made a list once like half a year ago and the average score was really good in my opinion. But that does obviously not mean that every game will be good or get good reviews. Especially not 3D games made like from the past.
The scores are actually quite ranging, which is surprising. That being said, many of the negative points like "archaic game design" are the reasons I backed this project in the first place. If it plays like an old school 3D Platformer, then I'll be getting what I expected, and what I wanted. I'll know for sure in a week.

There was a lot of this last generation where PS3 games got better metascores because more of the reviews were on the 360.

3D platformers are dead except for Mario and Ratchet and Clank just accept it.

Never watched any trailers or read anything about this game. Is this a spiritual sucessor/inspired on Banjo or what? looks a lot like it. Luckily I was never interested on it so I can't be disappointed :P
I'll just see for myself once it arrives on Switch. I've backed it, so I'm getting it either way.
