Do you set your TV on "GAME"?

Yes. 58 40.56%

No. 79 55.24%

Dunno. 6 4.20%

Most newer (I suspect all) TVs have a "GAME" option (or equivalent) to help reduce controller input lag.  Does anyone here uses this feature?  I don't because from a visual standpoint, the picture looks darker and less vibrant than standard.  I guess I can attempt to tweak the picture in GAME mode, but I just haven't taken the time to do so.  And I don't think I've encountered any significant lag issues since I'm fairly proficient in music/rhythm games Like Project Diva.  Or I've just gotten used to the timing.

Huh, I didn't know there were TVs with that function. I'll look if mine has it.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I used to when I had a Samsung smart tv, 2013 model maybe? But on my 2016 Vizio set, honestly doesn't feel like there's any difference in latency between display modes. Even on rock band where you would assume to be more sensitive to that kind of lag.

Of course, this TV also has a refresh rate of 120hz, a feature I deliberately opted for over other features (like 4K or HDR).

I usually set my TV to OFF mode when I'm gaming because my gaming setup is at the other end of the room.

No, never use it. I see no real benefit.

Nevah, because then the images wont have the flow of the 120/240 hz, since this "flow" inputs delay, and game mode is intended to not have delay (or the less possible better said). Prefer better motion even if I have input delay.

I am spoiled with pretty decent calibrated settings in cinema mode. I mostly play SP games and I can still complete souls games without game mode. In short PQ> input lag.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

No. I use a PC monitor for gaming.
