No I think they already went on the record to say the next Zelda was going to be a fresh take on the series? I thought I read that but I could be wrong

No they are not. Nintendo announced there is a timeline, nobody knows it though.

TWW is my favorite Zelda game. The characters, story, and best of all the music and art style made me love TWW. It ranks much farther than TP or OoT or any other Zelda game. TWW is the #1 Zelda game. Who cares about the "kid" feeling? You probably feel that way because of the art style and basically Link is a kid in that game. I didn't care if it felt "kiddy" or not. The people who bought the game didn't care if it was kiddy and nobody would make fun of you for buying it. I care more about the content of the game than the style of the game.

WW was good, but not the best imo. I prefer tp. WW is right in the middle for me.

I will have to agree with Soriku and raise him a few "Die"s in the process.

I don't even understand how people can 'hate' the art in Wind Waker considering that it looks more like a Zelda game than OoT did.

Zelda 2 was a direct sequel to Zelda 1. Majora's Mask was a direct sequel to Ocarina. Four Swords Adventures is a sequel to Four Swords. Phantom Hourglass was a direct sequel to Wind Waker. Oracle of Ages and Seasons, while not sequels, were 'aware' of each other. And all of the games are connected by a (disjointed) timeline. Thus, you are incorrect.
