Just wondering, but why? 

So long as the game has more puzzles, more dungeons, and less mindless traveling (quest for the triforce shards ftl), I'd be perfectly fine with another WW-ish Zelda. 

I don't know, I just feel there is way too much that's not explained in this one. Borkachev, you may be right. But I just felt that Midna hinting that she'd see Link again one day meant there would be a sequel. As for the Dark Link thing, what you say is understandable, I just don't think they'd tease the fans like that without putting him in a sequel.

Also, there's the whole thing about there not being much character development on the part of Link, Zelda, or pretty much anybody save for Midna.

I don't even care what the story is, I just want a Zelda to come out either late 2008 or early 2009. I know it will be awesome either way.

how about a sequel about link slowly transforming into dark link because of evil magic he absorbs??

Dark Link has never been relevant to the plot outside of Shadow Link in AoL (and maybe Dark Link in FSA) and even then his purpose was vague and people argue on what he really was. I wondered why they didn't take advantage of a Dark Link (or Twilight Link, whatever) battle but the story is in no way missing anything because a Link clone popped out in the middle of a dungeon for a 5 minute battle.

Midna's arc is done - there's nothing left to tell. Midna's 'hint' just made the reality hit that much closer to home when the mirror broke. 

My only gripes about the story were how little Zelda played an active role onscreen and how Ilia seemed pretty useless. Ganondorf's end was a bit misty usually so is his inevitable return.

If Nintendo want to increase TP sales then a squel is the basic solution for but I don't wanna a squel just because it's not the Zelda Essence and about MM & PH they aren't squels because they don't affect in anyway the Zelda timeline.
The next zelda I want is simply a real complete Wind Waker with most ergonomic use of the wii controller and titled :

The Legend of Zelda : The Master Sword Chronicles.

You people think Ganondorf will re-appear? I believe he won't. This time he died, earlier we have just trapped him (or turned him into stone). I think they did it so that they could have a new start, as Miyamoto mentioned with the plot-twisting.

I'd also like Midna to re-appear, maybe make Twilight-Zone a dimension between Hyrule and the world we start in?

Also, Dark Link? I don't remember that...

I don't know... I believe that Miyamoto did say that the next Zelda will be very different. He said something like Zelda needs to change direction, so I doubt that we will see a sequel. Maybe make another spin-off (could be similar to Link's Crossbow...) and touch on all the story elements mentioned here...

The next Zelda will be something we aren't expecting to be sure.
