Except you can find them in stores. I just checked and two stores in my area have it. One has 2 the other has 6 in stock.

The Wii launch had very short supplies. If we're talking strictly US (as Reggie is), the ps4 had a much better first month, as it sold a million on its first day of release. The Wii sold 600k in 8 days, so apparently the Switch is doing better than that. The Wii's stock shortages lasted for a long, long time, though.

Yeah, I don't get it either. It was sold out on my Wal-Mart for more than a week and didn't receive more for more than a week as well.

Same here in the old world. 329eur.
All talk and no steak. Give us numbers, that's the only thing that matters. This is just meaningless PR

Even the Wii U beat the Wii's launch, though that was because the Wii was massively stock restricted while the Wii U had so much stock they could be found everywhere without a problem after a couple of days and nIntendo had put up bigger stocks for the Wii U than the Wii.
And yeah, the Wii U's launch got trashed by the PS4 launch, so it also trashed the Wii's launch. Thing is, none of them had so much momentum that they where stock constrained for several years instead of days or weeks.

I heard in the news on Fox news that the news that Fox news is fake news is fake news.

The launch of the PS4 can easily be better as Wii, as PS4 released in each territory at different times, that allowed Sony to have more units on shelves. And every somewhat liked console is sold out at launch. So it is really a question of supply. And that means, the sold out Switch sells better than the sold out Wii, because Nintendo produces more units.

Yep, I was missing the numbers too. But fortunately also the numbers are meaningless, until the launch craze is over. So the really interesting numbers are that from summer.

You must live in Antarctica, they've been sold out in the Los Angeles area since launch. I heard Toys R Us was getting a shipment on Saturday, so I went to check and they sold out before the store even opened.
