Centrist.

Some things on the left I support, some things on the right appeals to me.

Libertarian/classical liberal is probably the closest thing to my political views. (Though oddly enough "classical" liberal is actually in some ways considered conservative in America these days, I believe wrongfully so but that's another story).. Mostly socially liberal, but certainly not the SJW type..

"We hold these truths to be self-evident - all men and women created by the, go-you know.. you know the thing!" - Joe Biden

Leaning to the right/conservative side here in Belgium, but probably more towards the left according to American standards.

I'm also quite green. Sadly, the Flemish green party is a bit to socialistic for me.

I am very neutral.

In environmental issues however, I am very liberal. Coal production has stayed the same, and yet jobs are being loss.
We should focus on bringing environmental friendly energy to urban areas. Then, to developing regions. Even if global warming is exaggerated, doesn't mean we should focus less on replacing coal and oil

Doesn't liberal mean that people should be free and make their own decisions (so that people shouldn't be forced to use greener energy)?
If you think that everyone should help to make our planet more livable, then you're rather socialistic about these issues, right?

Anyways, I completely agree with you.

I don't really talk much to people about this kind of stuff so I don't know if I'm left/right/liberal/etc (I'm pretty neutral honestly), but the only thing I'm sure of is that I don't like socialism/communism and I don't think those will ever work well in our society. I'm basically against any kind of dictatorship or too much authority.

Classical liberal and here's my political compass. Economically, I'm close to the center. I support capitalism, but corporations should not have influence over the government and some regulation is needed. Socially, I'm liberal. I support same-sex marriage and adoption, and abortions (until the where the unborn child can feel). Anthropogenic climate change is something that needs to be addressed.

I'm a falangist.

My most important political view: Never ever join a party. Once you do that you've sold your identity to a hivemind of thoughtless philosophical zombies (or p-zombie). Politically I believe what I want. That means I could agree with the left, right, center, and any other direction politicals will use. However, the danger in that is that if you believe in something that is insync with a political group you are often labeled as part of that group by the opposing opinion which bothers me to no end. I'm not a democrat, republican, anarchist, liberal, etc. Unfortunately (I do not see it here, thank God) a lot of people put their party above their own interests, hence why I'd never join a group. It's like, yes, sell out your own values because you want to piss off the other side you incompetent shithead. Go ahead, shoot yourself in the foot. And they do.

However, those here are probably know I have a disdain (to put it nicely) for Mr. Trump. He has done nothing but reaffirmed my belief that parties are the cancer of politics. People are fighting friends, family, etc over his nonsense. It's not worth it.

I'm a socialist, particularly an anarcho-communist in terms of my beliefs. I'd go more in depth, but I'm at school right now, so I may later.

I didn't expect finding an anarcho-communist here, especially not someone from North america.

Personally, I consider myself leftist (even by european standards), though not exactly as far left-leaning as you do. I'm also an environmentalist, support LGBTQ rights, pro nuclear power (though the old reactors ought to be replaced, and pronto subito!) and pro space technologies (anything from space exploration to space mining)

Good point.

Nowadays, many people equate ecofriendly policies to liberalism, so I just call it a liberal viewpoint to avoid confusion.

At a time when the US president knows shit about the environment, we need to prevent things like the pipeline from taking place
