I can't disagree because TWEWY was released in 2007, but I'm pretty sure there have been better eras.

Yes, a whole new world unveiled to me. It started with my gamer friend talking about PS2 games all the time and I decided to try some PS2 exclusive on emulator and chose Okami. I liked it a lot and wanted to play others but turned out no other PS2 game ran on my PC with more than 5 fps lol. Then I started looking into buying the actual console and surprisingly I could still buy a brand new PS2 in my country in 2011. I had great times with God of War, SSX series, FFX. Then I discovered that PS2 versions of my favorite PC games were a lot of fun too, like Deus Ex, Mafia, Hitman Blood Money. Then in 2012 I bought a PS3 and later a PSP.

It was not easy transitioning to console controls and other things, for example I didn't know about grinding in jRPGs and had a lot of frustration with bosses in FFX and Chrono Cross lol
