It's not a reboot at all. It's a new story arc set in Nordic mythology and the old games are canon. I'm also confused as to why the article frames it as a reboot.
nah
i think September - December this year will be GT Sport, Days Gone and Detroit
GoW February-May 2018
If this is true, this will easily be Sony's strongest year for exclusives.

Storywise its not a reboot. Its a sequel of sorts.....
Gameplay wise its a reboot. They have completely reimagined how a God Of War game plays. Kinda like Tomb raider 2013..... its really a prequel, but a reboot due to how vastly diffrent it was from the typical tomb raider tank gameplay.

Yh, but ijust don't see them releasing GoW this year. I hope I am wrong though.
They still have GTs which is still arguably their strongest IP coming this year and they can pair it with detroit and Uncharted 4 DLC for their holiday push. I think next year we see GoW, dreams, Days gone and spiderman. There has already been too much this year.
Besides, Horizon is still due to be their bundled game this year to replace Uncharted 4, so i see GoW coming in Febuary/march 2018 and bundled in the fall 2018. Thats kinda been how sony does things all gen so far.

could be. 2013 and 2009 are also strong contenders and we know how good the games are rather than guessing
Also I like their strategy of releasing year round because even if I do most of my gaming shopping on black friday (which I don't) the games will have discounts by then and it's not like they suddenly got crappy in a couple months. I think consumers are smarter than some companies give them credit for, they remember the releases year round even when it's holiday time.
I am Iron Man
There is no way this is happening. It's most likely going to be Detroit Become Human that will launch in 2017, probably the last exclusive to launch in 2017 with GoW being early 2018. You guys forget that Detroit was revealed in PGW 2015 with GoW in E3 2016.
