So, let me ask you this: do you support safe spaces?

What's a safe space?

A place where people are safe from harassment.

So it isn't REALLY free speech then huh?

No it's free speech same way how people are also free to react to it.

Exactly, you can say what you want ... doesn't mean people have to agree with you or respect you. You're not entitled to agreement or respect and just as you have the right to say what you want, people have a right to disagree and provide their own point of view.

Indeed people mistake free speech for say what you want with immunity, it's like when someone posts something and says it's just my opinion well when you give your view people are also free to respond to it.

So instead of reacting to what people say in a debate or trying to speak out why you disagree with this controversial things - sometimes stupid, sometimes probably correct but still controversial, trying to normalize punishing people by what they say is free speech now? If you are scaring people away from talking they minds by removing them from privilleges or from working or whatever, is actually forbidding them from free speech by scaring them.

People should be scared of being racist. Racism should not be tolerated at all.

Yes that's how free speech works people are free to react to it, you can say what you want but that doesn't mean you have diplomatic immunity. If you say something and a company that's affiliated to you feels what you said or your views  aren't in line with what they promote they're free to react as well, the same way I don't have to have anything to do with someone who's views I don't like the companies themselves have that right it's not just reserved for the one person who spoke alone.

He says that rich blacks commit more crimes than poor whites, he says that Mexicans are trying to commit ethnic enclaves to secede from the United States, he wants a white majority state, etc. How is that not racist?

You say something racist. A company you work for distances themself from you.

You have the choice - do you say something also racist again? And if so another company has the right to distance themself from you.

Cause and effect. It is a chain reaction.

He has the right to spew as much racism as he wants. And the companies have the right to stay far far away from him. That is the word "free" you seem to be missing.

I think people are lacking some thick skin. Nowadays, even sexual rpeferences not including people of X ethicity is potential racism.

There is just too much negativity on the media and how they try labelling everyone out of the norm a racist, a sexist and all that jazz.
