Same here. Enjoyed it when I was younger, but grew to despise it the more it went on. I dropped it 100 chapters before the end and don't regret it one bit. 

I liked the Part 1 arcs quite a bit, but knowing how it ended soured my opinion on the series a whole. I like to think of it as eating a foot long sub, enjoying, but then biting into some moldy cheese on the last bite. Sure I might have enjoyed the sandwich at first, but the last bite was bad enough that I would never recommend it to anyone.

Yes. I couldnt recammend someone to sit down and watch Naruto either.

I kinda feel the same about One Piece, it started out great but somewhere down the line something went horribly wrong.

That sad, i wish i could go watch new era of Boruto, but i have no desire for this... argh.

Now that's something I would disagree with...One Piece is one of the few long running manga I've read that maintained its quality over time. 

Probably best left for another thread though. :P 

No i didnt like naruto nothing comes close to dragon ball

I loved the episode. my favorite sagas was the chunin exams and i loved the Gaara vs Lee fight.

I don't get the Naruto hate.

Sure, the fillers are trash, but the canon is solid.

That said, I look forward to the no-filler watch list. It'd be nice to compile a garbage-less episode list.

I think most of us went through this phase.  I remember back in university, I binge watched the hell out of it in first year.  I got to the episode when Sasuke first fought Gaara.  Then I binge read the manga right up until Shikamaru and the rest went after Sasuke.  I was even downloading Raws and using text translations (This was before our current scanning system came into place) to read.  Then the manga became terrible and I just stopped caring about it.  Even my friend, he used to go to narutomania.com to download the episodes and watch them (Did the same with Bleach) every Thursday.  Then Shippuden started and it was garbage.  Like I kept up with the manga just to finish the story, but other than a few cool parts in the second half, it was just terrible.  So many missed opportunities.  

Do I personally miss Naruto?  Yes, the first half that was amazing.  Hell I still get nostalgic to watch it again.  More than that?  I wouldn't touch it.   I won't watch Shippuden because of how bad the manga got.  Maybe if they kept the composer from the first series I might have watched it, since that composer really knew how to play with emotions.  But I can't care enough for the second half.
