For people who want to play on a console, it's really not that hard to understand.

But wouldn't they have an XBO?

So pretty much what your saying by that is everyone who is even remotely interested in an Xbox, has one? I'm pretty sure Xbox Ones are sold daily and will be for years so what your saying makes no sense.

Thanks for the reminder.

What I'm saying is that this seems to target people that the XBO or PC would already satisfy.

Its a more expensive PS4pro.... with a smaller & differnt games library.
But even the PS4pro is overkill, the slim is fine as is imo.

Id rather get a switch tbh.
Why? well it has some exclusives that intrest me.

The best way to deal with this situation, not leaving XB1 or XB1s users behind, and using full potential of the Scorpio:
Make two different versions of Xbox exclusives, one for XB1 and one for Scorpio. After a few years, phase out XB1 and only make Scorpio games. The Scorpio shouldn't be an Xbox One "elite", because it will have underwhelming sales like PS4 pro, while the games will be held back for the lowest common denominator, the og Xbox One.

The Scorpio is going to sell less than PS4 Pro wordwide, so I guess underwhelming sales are a given.

As for your main point, the problem with waiting a few years to go Scorpio only is that by then PS5 will be out and comfortably more powerful. And then they have the same problem as they do now.

Hey, you never know. PS4 pro is doing just fine, but not nearly as much as people thought before the Pro was revealed. I think you are overestimating how much the Pro is selling. If Scorpio is anything that is not "Xbox One Something", it will easily outsell the Pro, but thats just me.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Scorpio is an Xbox One Something whether they call it that or not, as this article proves

As for sales, I don't think I'm overestimating Pro sales. I've read from retail workers on gaf it is going along decently, probably accounts for 10-15% of sales. I don't see Scorpio doing anything significantly more than that given it's inevitable high price.

How can Scorpio have exclusives when XB1 doesn't have any?

oooohhhh

But really no Scorpio exclusives is definitely a good thing, kudos.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

It's just an entry Win 10 platform, as i have always said. Cannot really consider it a traditional console.

This is a relatively important moment. Mid-generation upgrades might be here to stay but the question is which method will be best received by the market-place: Sony's modest upgrade at a modest price increase or Microsoft's higher level upgrade at a higher price-point. Events like this can set trends for the future.

Of course, sales might just echo those of the base units, leaving us without a clear picture.

I find this very interesting.

But why? Why increase the power 4x fold if games are still being held back so significantly by older hardware?
