Forums - Nintendo - Switch is Spain’s best console launch in history

According to ZhugEX, it's the biggest home console launch, but the PSP is still the biggest overall launch.

Psp did over 55k. Also there it is (best "home console" launch) lol

I have trouble believing this story. Portugal and spain are total Sony lands. I don't see how this is possible unless i see official numbers.

This numbers are as official as Media Create ones for Japan.

This vandal thing is a news website or publication. They are not an official source. The whole thing is very dubious to me, having been to spain myself. Nintendo stuff usually gets a small shelf in every store comared to complete isles of Sony stuff. I am pretty certain there is a catch here.

GFK released the Spain charts and it was confirmed that Switch is the biggest launch.

Vandal is a website,  but the numbers are proveedor by GfK,  a market research firm, the one that previous videogames data for most of Europe.

Although Spain loves Sony, it also loves Nintendo handhelds.  About stores, El Corte Inglés (biggest Spanish retailer) of Callao, in Madrid,  who has a big specialized videogames department has a bigger section for Nintendo than for any other company.

No. I want Nintendo to understand that if they want to keep selling Switch, Zelda is a top priority now.

... It was been until now that they have launched both things, and a little bit more for the DLC.

Nintendo's priority right now should launch more games to keep momentum going.

Exactly. If Nintendo can smash out another couple must-have titles, then they are onto a winner with Switch.
They might have crap hardware and a high price, but they can make up for it with quality software that gets rave reviews and gets everyone talking, I hope they pull it off too.

Most people would think that console = Home Consoles.

Regardless. It beat other home consoles out there. An Awesome achievement.
