Forums - Nintendo - Breath of the wild: Anyone run into any glitches yet?

For some reason my weapons keep keep disappearing while in combat. I hope they patch that soon.

Are they breaking or being thrown? Or just glitch out?

I haven't found any myself but I did see this video on a climbing glitch.

Not gonna watch that, that will ruin my gameplay style, removing all challenge from path finding.

Several (docked)

- Drops to 20fps in areas with a lot of grass.
- Severe slowdown and freezes while fighting tall enemies with giant swords. If both me and the enemy are swinging swords at each other near objects / walls the physics engine seems to have a tough time keeping up with all the interactions.
- One system crash in the map screen, restart console.
- One 30 second freeze in a seemingly normal battle while attacking a camp.
- Physics going haywire moving a ball with a chain attached with magnetism, zipping around out of control.

This is over the course of 30 hours of playing, 99% of the time it runs perfectly. The only minor issue I have is with the left analog stick. It's too easy to accidentally click while circle strafing enemies with the shield up. Accidentally crouching cancels the shield which means instant death in most cases. It's my number one cause of death. I wish you could remap that.

Funny you mention the crouching thing, I've done that multiple times by accident when I'm trying to run from a really strong monster like the guardians lol.

Yea, that is my biggest complaint in this game. The lack of remapping.

I switched teh X and B buttons, which is all it lets you do.

What my ideal layout would be, woudl be

B = Jump (currently is)

X = Crouch (currently sprint)

Left stick press = Sprint (currently crouch)

At least that is what I would lfind ideal. No way of knowing until I could try it, but that makes more sense to me. Beyond accidently pushing crouch while in battles (doesn't happen much, but a few times) the more annoying aspect is trying to rotate camera while sprinting. If they made sprinting a click of the left stick to turn on/off then I could freely rotate camera instead while sprinting.

I found exactly one glitch: I was pulling around a metal chest with magnesis, and it somehow got partially glitched into the floor. I needed it for a puzzle, so I had to exit and re-enter the shrine.

No glitches or bugs atm. About framerate, I have problems in areas with tall grass, and I encountered two freezes in combat. It normally goes pretty smooth, nothing that damaged my enjoyment of the game. Console runs perfectly. I'm a bit surprised about that. I normally encounter some issues on a launch console,,like crashes and random reboots. No problems in these days.

None.

no glitches for me. But that framerate on WiiU... I wish it would drop to 25FPS, not 20

I watched it but I don;t find myself doing it at all. It feels cheap.

I've had a few stutters when ragdolling moblins near Death Mountain and Gerudo Desert, and got a trident to float in midair while trying to grab it while my inventory was full, but that's about it. No Switch issues either, though I've only played about 2-3 hours of it docked and the rest in handheld mode.
