Are you talking about the Sage Temple ? Did you go in the arena beside the outskirt stable cuz that ''thing'' ain't jocking around xD

Thanks for the info, I didn't even know myself :P

No it was in thé jungle , i think its called Draco something.

And OMG ... Am i right when i think éven After thé great plateau what you see on the whole map is limited ans There are still hidden parts ? It looks like it.

Éven as it is thé map is freaking huge , its Amazing, when you see thé Castle from thé plateau but its really not

Yea the great plateau is misleading since you up so high. After I left and started heading towards a tower, I stayed somewhat on course. Hard not to get distracted. BUt every once in a while i go up a hill to check my bearings (have hud on pro the whole time) and I swear I'm further away from every tower in teh game than I was when I was on the tower looking.  The world is so much larger than it looks on the plateau.

Btu I find the game funny in its story. Like the second your ready to leave the Plateau, the game is like "Main Quest: Defeat Ganon" And there right in front of you in the middle of the map is Calamoty Ganon surrounding Hyrule Castle. You can as people said go straight there and fight him. You get basically the whole games quest instantly and can do it instantly. But then I'm goign to spend like 100 hours circling the castle preparing to fight ganon. NO matter where I am in the world, I can climb a hill/cliff/mountain whatever and see in teh distance my objective, yet know I'm not ready yet.

It's really kind of a new neat experience in video game story telling imo. First time I've ever experienced something like that.

Just about to jump off the platue lol. I spent a lot of time exploring and just trying to cook everything, kill everything. About six hours so far.

I need to start cooking. My completionists in my makes me not want to use my ingredients, cause I want ot get 99 of them or wahtever is the max, lol. I don't want to waste them.

BTW is there anyway of looking at recipes, to make something you made before? I see that dishes I have made I can click on and see how they were made. But what happens when I eat all of those dishes. How can I make that very same dish again? Do I have to remember what I did?

Well I got my excitement of wanting to share out. Gonna go back to playing again.

Obviously didn't share all I wanted. This game has so many neat moments that you want to talk about, yet you don't want to spoil them for others. Most games you can say whatever you want as long as you don't spoil the story. This one it feels like you have to be vague and aloof about everything cause as I said you don't want to spoil that moment for another and want them to experience it first hand.

One more shrine to go on the great plateau, was in desperate need of a drink after playing 4 hours straight. The game is amazing, just a shame it's so quiet, I miss the music. Also the frame rate dips on the big screen can get in the way, for example when hunting boar in the spirit forest. Plus my hands must suck cause changing arrows with the bow drawn hurts with the joy-con controllers, not comfortable. Yet on the positive side, I haven't had any more joy-con disconnects after putting the console within 2 meters of me. It's sitting on the side now with a longer hdmi cable. Nintendo and their wireless issues....

I was going to divide my time between Horizon and Zelda, but not gonna happen tonight. Still got that rock monster to try again. I got a bit sidetracked with cooking, ended up with 3 pages of prepared food. Kinda pointless to have meals that restore 7 hearts while I still only have 3 lol.

Try playing the game using the claw style, it takes some getting used to but makes changing weapons far easier as you master it.

I just tried, my fingers don't bend that way, I'm old.

I completed the great plateau in about 8 hours, still didn't kill all those laser watchers as it just costs too many resources to do so. Can always go back after I get a better stabby thing. Had to quit as it was getting close to 5am already. I glided of the plateau to here.

A little past *spoiler maybe* Kakariko Village.

Btw I just got my first horse. It's registered, so if I leave it behind, will I be able to pick it up again at the stable?

Sven, man. Make a screenshot thread. Please. I would but I don't own the game and It'd feel unworthy,

Here you go http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=226483&page=1

I haven't made a lot of screenshots yet, too busy running around.

Don't mess with an ice arrow shooting, fire breathing, sword swirling, and highly pissed centaur.

Did the same, and I probably didn't find all the Koroks available in that region x)

I don't think there is. You probably need to remember all of them .... or you can write it all on a piece of paper *wink*

Well its not that far, it was before kokorico village

Heh, I had an encounter with it. Most powerfu enemy I encountered by miles. I've got to run.

A word for those who want to be astonished. Mild SPOILERs if you don't want to know anything about the game:

Make your way to the top of Lanayru Mountain. You won't regret it a bit.

Also, not hyperbolic statement. This game is putting every open world game I've ever played to shame. I hope BOTW will be a reference in the next bunch of open-world titles. This is EXACTLY how to do it. Every criticism I have is nitpicking. I don't want it to end. Never. So I'm not advancing in the plot at all XD.

Yeah I've played a number of open world games and none of them are quite like this.

Haven't come across any of the bigger enemies except for two fully functioning Guardians and man those things know how to give chase plus they have Robocop style aiming, you literally have to weave out the way the second the targeting beam blinks. Was out catching horses when I spotted one down the cliff but it couldn't reach where I was so I just carried on but then another one that was just free roaming the area comes strolling around the corner FML. I have two horses one's the legendary one (would have prefered if they made you catch this one) the other is the first one I caught but have just stuck with the latter as the game gives you a strange feeling when catching and training your horse, it feels like an actual proper companion after you've registered it.

It's weird because if I'd used the other horse it'd been easier as it has better stats but I stuck to using the one I caught. I hope in future games they allow you to catch Loftwings as well.
