Further than anyone here and yet not that far at all. I've played a lot but been exploring a shit load.
I can't believe some of the shit I've seen in this game, it's better then I could have imagined.

Did you play Ocarina of Time?....especially when it came out in 1998? (if you´ve been playing since that time, that is).....Opinions and all, but getting as close to objectivity as possible, it seems Ocarina is the most beloved Zelda to this day...would you say BOTW is on track to surpassing it and Ocarina will have to settle for second place?

I haven't even played one of the proper dungeons yet so it's too early to say. From all the exploration and shrines I've done and what reviews are like I'd say that nostalgia may be OoT's best bet for holding down that No.1 spot... well that and that it was technically impressive for its time unlike BotW

Not very far. I'm at the part where I'm stuck trying to save up "rupees" to buy the Nintendo Switch and Zelda game.

Get outside and start smashing rocks. I hear you can sell them to people for rupees. But before you do, go and get a red nintendo switch shirt so you can really feel like Link doing it.

loll I can try but everything is still frozen and stuck to the ground.  I'd love a NS shirt, where can i find one?

Just got paraglider, now going to find ~someone~

Mine''s in the post should get tomorrow. Jealous of you all.

Wait you can cook the chili by itself?!? I thought you had to cook it with something else.  Also can you even get the green outfit that early?

No, you can't cook it itself, but a Hyrulian mushroom and a piece of steak seems to be enough to create a recipe that grants 4 minutes of cold protection.

Actually I just cooked it by itself. It gives like a minute of cold protection. However you can combine the peppers to get more time.

Anyway minor spoilers from a little after getting the paraglider.
I just talked to impa. Beat 4 shrines and now going to explore the world. Also I was surprised when I found a chest filled with rubys! I thought there were none in this game!

(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

Hm, that's interesting. So if you cook five you get five minutes, I guess? I'll try more combinatons soon, though.

I also got quite a few rubies from Talus, as well ambar and other mineral.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Well prologue done. I received it in the mail. Now just need to get done with work and go home.

Just finished thé second shrine, beczuse i did some other stuff before, this area is freaking huge and its thé smallest apparently.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Yea its crazy. I hear people saying they spent like 4 hours on the great platuea cause they want to do everything before they move on. They later realize after they have left that they still didn't do everything.  And that area is like the smallest part of the game.  Not to mention beyond getting the paraglider and talking to the old man there is like zero story stuff there either. Just exploring.

What's this whole Wild Breath thing all you young whippersnappers are gabbing about?
