Just beat the game.

Fighting Ganon was very easy. Usually I would be mad that it wasn't harder but knowing that I worked for everything that I used to make it easier is weirdly rewarding. Having the 4 divine beasts blast the shit out of him cut hald his health, using the Master Sword for stronger hits, having the 4 champions gifts saved me 2 or 3 times. Knowing that obtaining those things were optional makes it ok for me. Also, the Dark Beast was clearly for show lol

I just watched a speedrun and to my surprise, you have to beat all 4 shrine bosses right before the fight with ganon.

So, doing all the work and getting the divine beasts are all part of weakening Ganon. That's why he felt so easy for most people.

Yeah! I saw that too just yesterday. I think it's pretty cool and I really feel like starting another run with no divine beasts to see if I can beat them back to back.

After 80 hours I finally made it to Koriko village. 47 shrines done, 127 seeds, 2 dungeons. Next visit the guy to expand my inventory. Stamina maxed and 7 hearts, mostly using Barbarian legs + armor for attack up and Topaz earings (strangly those have the highest armor rating of my available head gear as I could upgrade those)

Is there a Barbarian helmet too?

There's a complete set of armor, yes. ^_-

Just beat the game with about 75 hours or so. I did all the Divine Beasts and got all the lost memories. Crazy how I spent 11 days on this game but saved all the story part for the last two. It was just a blast to just do everything. The final boss was very fun to fight. I will have to play it again to see how it holds up. But as of right now it is my second favorite zelda game (after a link to the past of course.)

Hopefully it is not like skyward sword when you play it a second time and realize how terrible it is.

i love link 2 the past as well. its my fav of all time. i sold my botw yesterday 20hrs into it. 2 divine beasts done.

I'm spending WAY too much time exploring and trying to collect stupid ingredients and mats :) This game is so amazing. I just completed the first dungeon but I did like 30 shrines already by travelling everywhere and ignoring the main quest for a while.

I've done one dungeon, 30 shrines, 60 something Korok seeds, a couple of dozen sidequests and found 6 of the 11 optional memories. That's taken 40 hours.

Aiming to do all 120 shrines before taking on Ganon.

After looking for it for I don't know how many hours, and finding plenty of hidden stuff in the process, I finally completed the 120 shrines! Pretty neat what it unlocks! :D

Now, I'm on my way to unlocking the last Great Fairy. That one's a greedy mofo. :(

I still want to upgrade all my armor sets before crushing Ganon. Most of them are already at level 3, and some of them already have the necessary materials for the fourth upgrade. All I need is 10k rupees...

According to the Switch I passed the 90 hour mark. 52 shrines completed, 165 Korok seeds. I only unlocked the memories yesterday so haven't started looking for them yet. The game is still amazing. Just did Eventide island and have been exploring along the coast.

I have the full climbing gear set now which makes climbing in the rain somewhat possible. It would be great if the set bonus makes climbing rain proof after upgrading it.

Not far... I take too long to look around and explore. Literally just finished the towers. 36 shrines finished - 3 only marked (too difficult)- 6 memories.
3 fairy fountains.
ready for my first beasts... or to try it.

Switch!!!

Finished :)
Took just under 80 hours, still have way too many korok seeds to go though as well as 44 shrines... yeah I'm not doing those korok seeds
