With the Scorpio Rumoured to have 12GB of GDDR5X I am guessing after its release most of the graphically best games will be those versions.

Gears of War 5, Forza Horizon 4 and Halo 6 should be graphical powerhouses.

From the PS4 front, The Last of us 2, Death Stranding and God of War should all be lookers. Gran Turismo Sports might look good but I personally dislike the 30fps they are aiming for and I also count that towards graphics.

I thought that was targeting 60fps? What I've seen of the game certainly wouldn't justify 30fps. It looks nice, but not 'new hardware and half the frame-rate' nice.

Its debatable the last Interview I have seen of the game they said they wanted to offer 60fps but its very clear all current builds are well under 60 and they are clearly struggeling to get to that point.

Maybe the delay helped, if the final product is a stable 60fps I will deffenitely like it a lot more. Altough Driveclub looked nice to me it was very noticable it ran at a low fps :(

Even Battlefield 1 at 4K on a PC looks better than this.

Don't get me wrong, for a console game HZD looks great (on the PS4 Pro), but compared to a good PC capable of native 4K gaming, this is just somewhere between the Witcher 3 and Battlefront.

Not to mention it only renders at 30FPS.

I can run The Witcher III in 4K. It doesn't look better than Horizon.

So can I and from a technical perspective The Witcher 3 looks better.

There is an easy way to end this thread.
Show me screenshots that have more going on that Horizon and at such high detail/IQ.

Even with an amazing detailed open world, the ingame model still looks this good.

Explain how, if it is technical.

The Witcher 3 has better texture/terrain details, better AO, better AA, better AF, better shadow quality and as I said, it runs at a true 4K resolution.

The title of the thread said best graphics, not artistic style.  That's subjective.

From a technical standpoint the Witcher 3 is a better looking game when played maxed out on a PC at 4K.

None of those pictures are actual gameplay screenshots.

Lol and case closed, those are all actual gameplay screenshots. They were taken from NeoGAF's Screenshot thread. Except maybe the last one according to CGI.

Actually:

Is the only non-gameplay shot.

Huh are you sure? Is there a point in which the game gets this close to her face because in cutscenes you can't use the photo mode stuff. I mean you can use it but it only get's rid of text. I got it from the NeoGAF screenshot thread.

Really?  I'd love to know how to get the camera at the angles portrayed in the other shots.  Or how to get Aloy out of the screen all together.  Or especially how to get the camera so far away from her in the forest scene so I don't feel like 40% of my television screen is of her back.  All of those pictures are in engine but not gameplay.  There's a big difference.  Give me a second and I'll get some W3 screens.

It looks like one of the Banuk Cutscenes, though I could be wrong. If it isn't, that's just more to back up what you're saying.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's ingame, this is another photo in which the title says "ingame" where they were talking about how the world is reflected in real time on her eyes and I'm pretty sure it's the forest in the early part of the game.

The screenshots are in-game, taken in PhotoMode (which is nothing but the shot you take while positioning the camera after pausing the game). Yes, it actually looks like that.

In photo mode, exactly.  When it only renders that small fraction of the world you're standing in and nothing is moving.

Try moving the camera back 1000 feet and taking a shot of something that wasn't in the scene when you entered photo mode.

If you seriously think photo mode is the same as an in game, real time screen shot then there is no point in continuing this conversation.

I will post my screen shots of TW3 but it's clear you are just very excited about this game (which you should be as it looks great for a console game), and don't really understand how certain aspects of video games work.
