I really wish I had the device few months ago, Vita and DS are awesome for plane, but this would have been more awesome.

Long distance flights tend to have an outlet for you to charge your devices, so I would say yes, but you won't be able to play tabletop mode with the charger being on the bottom?

Genuinely curious, has this guy never used other portable device before switch?

Biggest draw for me: take it anywhere and there are games for two players. A handheld that allows multiplayer!

Playing Resident Evil Revelations for the 3ds under the covers was amazing (so tense!) and I will definitely be playing BotW in a similar fashion. Will also be taking it to work for playing during break.
