It is still fully possible to like Trump and be against those measures. If you believe, for example, that globalism and the TPP is a significant threat to America (I think the opposite; main reason why I don't support him), you could consider his strong protectionism a significant enough trait to overlook other flaws.

Also, people that believe that Abortion is bad often genuinely consider it murder. This isn't a debate anout women's rights - if you don't believe that a foetus can be considered a human, the women obviously has the liberty of doing whatever she wants to with her body. If you do believe that an abortion ends the life of an innocent, that obviously takes priority over the sentiments of the women.

As an independent, I very much am. With that said, I am used to seeing them stated with...a little more tact, to say the least.

If you're genuinely interested in making a change and affecting people's political opinions, then it's usually not a good idea to open by calling everyone who endorses a certain candidate a sexist. That tends to simply disengage people from your conversation, and the end result is you change no one's mind. Try creating an open discussion, or perhaps voicing your complaints in a less accusatory way. Something like "I feel that the way Trump has approached women creates a very hostile world for them in, and I don't understand how people can support him without creating a major moral dilemma." Even if you're wholeheartedly convinced that you are right and Trump supporters are wrong, opening up by telling them that they are wrong will convince nobody of your correctness.
