Nope.
But maybe it'll just stay exactly on 10k
Please Japan, buy PS3s.
According to Media Create the PS3 is doing worse year-to-year:
Currently playing on PS3: God of War III
Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII
Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger
How can Sony allow two Golden Weeks to go by without releasing any major games? It's the second biggest selling time of the year.
@ Fishy
The decent PS3 title comes out April 24th.
Wow, the PS3 is doing even worse than what the Famitsu #s had it at. :-o

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

GTA4 an VoB come out on Golden Week if I'm not mistaken. GTA has usually had a little better reception than other Western titles. I expect it to do 60k first week on PS3.
It seems sometimes Famitsu is punishing or praising the PS3. Now its punishing it.
I hope FF13 won't be the last best jRPG.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

What's the big deal of PS3 not selling in Japan "AT THIS MOMENT"? As long as it's selling in NA and PAL, PS3 is doing OK.
The majority of Japanese/Asian gamers don't like "RACING" "SHOOTING" and "SPORT" games and that's all we have for PS3 right now. Why would they want to put away their PS2 and buy a PS3? Sooner or later, we will see Japanese developers pump out more games for PS3. Just give them more time.
Sit back and watch the weekly data, don't make comments that may come back and bite you later. Remember PSP?

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

Huh? It's the other way around.
The big Japanes games won't come because PS3 performs so badly. That's the big deal with PS3 not selling at this moment.
Ask Zen. He wrote some quite interesting posts about why he regrets buying a PS3. A lot of Sony fans love the PlayStation brand because it had all the Japanese games. This gen Wii will be the console with all the Japanese games (minus FF) if this trend continues. You really think Japanese developers are very eager to create games for a dying platform? The biggest market for things like JRPG's and SRPG's is Japan.
it seems now that if you're not nintendo, you can't have steady sales in all 3 regions...sony have improved in america, but have got worse in japan. i don't think it's scei's fault, i really just think it's scej's fault. they don't have enough brains to see that they need to do SOMETHING, to improve sales.
