Ive always viewed Xbox as a MP driven platform with the best network and the best network features. Xbone hasn't disappointed there. I think they have to hit on some of their big stuff this year though to eclipse the last two gens.

Third parties aren't helping. I think as a whole this gen has been pretty underwhelming so far compared to what we saw by now last gen.

True but I was referring about the 2 things. Maybe mixing up in my reply was not the best way to put it :)

1) While the game library is not yet where the 360 is, Xbox fans are far from being unhappy about it. But yah, ob. the 360 library is the best as of now :)

2) For the best gen, as I mention, we are talking about sales (and most like the same for Phil) and it is actually true.

At the end, people who have no interest into the Xbox brand or One in general and coming out with a list of things which is "making Xbox fans" unhappy is just non sense :)

Each console (ps4,xbox 1 and Wii U) is worse than previous generation both in exclusives and multiplatform games overall. However, if xbox one keeps improving each year in AAA games which they have been doing they will end up doing better than the 360 exclusive wise. People have to remember the 360 focus almost all on kinect at the end completely and all the third party titles went to playstation eventually. This year xbox one is getting sea of thieves, state of decay 2, crack down 3 and more. Also, it is getting quite a bit of pc games support through uwp like city skylines, astroneer, path of exiles and more.

Some of these comments in this thread are interesting considering that some here are not even Xbox fans and somehow represent Xbox gamers which they dont. For me I am satisfied with my X1 and I look forward to the rest of the year.

Oh yeah that is all well and good man no biggie lol! Yes the 360 was an AMAZING system and had the games. But yeah sales wise the XB1 is ahead. And I will not lie I prefer Sony and the games that they have over XB1 but I am very happy with my XB1 SO, Ryse, KI, QB, GoW4, FH1&2 etc are all great reason to have an XB1 imo. SO I am very happy with it but I would never lie and say it is better than what the 360 had to offer lol.

Yeah but the folks who do not even play the XB1 talking about the fans beind sad....not cool. But hey it happens in every generation with every system so no biggie.

Yea, because the Wii U is selling terribly. Thing is, though, I was told the Wii "wasn't competing with the HD twins", and in much the same way, the Wii U "isn't competing with the PS4 and XBOne".

If that's the case, then Xbox went from 50/50 marketshare to 67/33? To bring in "total market share" is akin to a PR spin move to make things look better, via dragging the Wii U in. 

If Phil Spencer seriously thinks this is the height of the Xbox brand then Microsoft should consider replacing him right now ... 

The Xbox One is a total trainwreck in terms of game line up. They have a halo spin-off, another zombie survival game just after getting Dead Rising last year, a cloud powered tech demo and this is the best they have to offer despite having no flagship single player experiences that's supposedly the life and blood of console games ? 

Just more sad news for Xbox fans that Phil Spencer doesn't desire improvement ...

Is this the best Xbox gen though? I don't own an XB1 so I don't have an opinion on it, other then that nothing on the system interests me enough to buy it.

I own an Xbox and 2 360s but I put Xbox gen > 360 gen. Personal opinions of course.
