Forums - Gaming - 2017 is aiming to be one of the best years in all of gaming

Could this be one of the best years in gaming?

This list looks incredible 57 68.67%

This list looks like a overhyped mess 7 8.43%

We should probably wait a... 19 22.89%

Total:83

It's pretty damn great. I can't deny it.

Yep, I am really looking forward to the rest of 2017! :)

But shame on the thread creator, where is Crash Bandicoot in the op? -_-

For Xbox gamer I don't think it looks quite as tasty as last year. Gears of War 4, Quantum Break and Forza Horizon 3 will most likely be too hard to beat. Last year was one of the best ever in my opinion. There's a new console and Red Dead Redemption 2 of course and other games looks nice as well. We'll see.

Haha It's just a  picky eater. Xbox doesn't matter.

Indeed, if you have a PS4 and a Switch in bonus, you get thé best year since à decade.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

This, pretty much, but I have a feeling Microsoft is going to reveal Halo 6 this year. They are very predictable and much like last gen they tended to keep Halo and Gears on a developmental cycle one year after the other to stay relevant. Microsoft will most likely secure a timed or third party exclusive to sweeten the deal (that once was planned to be multiplatform). I don't sleep on Microsoft, but my expectations arent high either. This is why its good to own all three of the platforms. Breath of the Wild might have just convinced me to buy a Wii U if the switch doesnt impress by E3 with more hot exclusive reveals.

I do not like Halo, and I have a  very good PC. I see no reason for me to get an XB1.

PS4/WiiU/PC covers everything, except Halo...

I may or may not get a switch, I don't like handhelds and some of the reviews Ihave read say it suffers a bit when you try to run it on a tv.
