At the current pace, I'm looking at 115,000G for the year 2017. Not sure if I'm able to do that but 100k should be possible.

Might I ask what games are close to being platinum eligible? (2 of 3 needed owners or sub 750G).

How do you play so many games without burning yourself out?

None off the top of my head to be honest. It's been a pretty dry year so far, and it rather shows. Almost all the games being played right now are from years prior. I end all the updates each month by pulling up all the games played by everyone participating to check for overlap, and really there's close to none as far as this year's releases go. Even some of the bigger games from earlier in the year like For Honor, and Mass Effect barely managed to get the 3 people needed to be platinum elligable.

Still, I imagine there will be an uptick in platinums earned as we move into this latter half of the year though, as publishers start to roll out their usual fall/holiday push.

Ok so apparently Fallout Shelter is actually platinum elligable. I thought that came out last year, but I guess it was early February. My apologies for that oversight. It's been played by 5 members here, and Barozi will hold the platinum for it, at 925GS currently. I'll update that in a minute. 

Phantom Dust is shown as owned by 4 people on TA, but only 2 have it as a registered as a game they've started. 

Modern Warfare Remastered also needs one more active player to be elligable, though I'm a bit uncertainy as to whether or not it should be, as it was technically available last year, albeit in a bundle with Infinite Warfare.

Actually that happened recently in May. For about a week or two, there was nothing at all that I wanted to play.

I still have a problem starting new games where I need to follow a story to fully enjoy it. Usually after work, I don't want to concentrate on such things, so I play some indies. On weekends, there's a high chance that my gf will just call her mother or she vacuums a room. Not ideal to play such games either.
That's why I have a ton of unfinished games (Dishonored 2, Fallout 4, Gears of War 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider and many more)

I'm sure there will be more platinums soon. Just need some lower prices and I'll bite. I really look forward to playing Prey, Halo Wars 2 and Yooka Laylee.

EDIT: Just noticed that you gave me 5 points, but I should only be getting 3 as it is a digital only title.

Definitely my lowest month of the year so far.

Yea I have Phantom Dust marked as owned but not played it yet :P I tend to mark most of the games (when i remember) I get through gold or what I buy on my game collection on TA as it's quite a good overview of what I have  to finish up or what to start next :)
