Hmm, pie.
Nintendo had the NES and SNES. Sony the PS1 and PS2. So Atari I guess. For the second question one would think for profit. The third I wouldn't know but I am going for Square. As for the fourth don't know. As for the last I only count consoles that are counted within a generation so Sony. But wasn't the Philips CD developed earlier.

Well looks like the first few posts luckily didn't spoil the thread after all. It would have been a shame for all Rol's effort to have gone to waste.
It would behove you to actually list the correct answer to all your questions as one of the options
B is the correct answer to all of them
1. Quite tied Nintendo/Sony, counting current gen, not counting it, Nintendo
2. Would say for profit, though some employees were saying it's because Sony refused to work with them, and the fact Microsoft did acquire rare beforehand was quite a bully move.
3. Nintendo
4. you said Mario Bros., and not Super Mario Bros. ergo, it's none of them.
5. Philips' CDI
Those are trick questions, with most correct answers lacking from the choices given. Expected from a "quiz" by Rol. =P
But I will answer as factually as I can, and will await the inevitable spin. xD
1: Nintendo (gen 3 and 4) and Sony (gen 5 and 6) are both ex aequo with 2 concecutive generational wins each. But Rol will give it to Nintendo because they won Gen 1 with their Color TV-Game series, didn't make a gen 2 console, and then won gen 3 with the NES and gen 4 with the SNES. Meaning they won 3 gens with their first 3 concecutive consoles.
2: They entered the console market to defeat Sony, because Sony wouldn't partner up with them.
3: Nintendo
4: There is no final boss in Mario Bros.
5: NEC with the PC-Engine CD-ROM add-on.
