I'm so sorry to hear that. It sound similar to storys I've heard from venezuelan friends before they left the country. It's horrible when a country can't even provide their citizens with basic security.

I know how you feel and we´re just getting tired of it. I used to live near a favela (slums/shanty town) and I can remember at least three of my childhood friends/neighbors who were killed during assaults or gang fights. I don´t live in that place anymore but last Sunday there was a riot in my neighborhood because some people were doing "funk parties" on the street until late hours with sound-equipped cars and making noise at a very high volume. There were some of them selling drugs and other selling alcohol. Police came in large numbers and the riot started. I saw that happening a lot of times in the latest years in different places and it seems that drug dealers won´t stop doing that. It´s an easy way to get a lot of young people together and sell drugs to them. They don´t care if people in the ´hood need to sleep at night.

And it makes me even angry to know that today, most of the criminals are very young males. As our law is overprotective to them, many drug dealers and thieves "hire" very young guys to sell their drugs and to take part in robberies since they can´t be put in jail. Those young kids get too delusional about the possibility of making good money on crime and they´re too immature to even care about their victims... they just prefer to kill them. And more and more kids are getting addicted to drugs and alcohol.

For our foreginers friends reading this..... of course this is not the norm in every place in Brazil. There are some safe neighborhoods and some great places to visit in our biggest cities but those are common occurances in poor, low-income districts all over our country.

all their coalition partners were very right wing and so were their allies in the war, they got the traditionalists with their völkisch/ethnic ideology, they got the fundamentalists with their extreme anti-judaism and they were extremely anti-communism/marxist/bolshie - they defined themselves as right wing and sat with the right wingers in the parliament

nobody with any info on them was fooled by the "sozialistische" part of their name, the few social programms they realized were put into place in order to perfect the "Gleichschaltung" and their transformation of the german citizens into a war machine, very much like other facist regimes did at the time (but "better")

people of the time and any serious historians agree that they were extremely right wing

now , the extreme left wing authoritarians actually are just as much vermin as them and probably even killed more people in the 20th century than the right wing did with all out war against dissidents (Stalin), total miscalculations (Mao "the great leap forward") or extreme anti intellectualism (Pol Pot) - mostly their own ones though

I don't know where your BS is coming from, but it stinks. Left wing actually cares more about the people than right wing extremism. Right wing extremism is what brings racism and xenophobia. It's what allows douchebags to take advantage of the uneducated with radical promises that bring war and damage to their own country but profit to themselves by blaming minorities. 

I can only wish europe was left wing atm, cause it would be an even better place. 

Tbh, using big generalisations like left and right wing is dumb. It all depends on the people running the parties. What may be a terrible socialist party can be a good one on another country. They are not one and the same. They are just based on similar values, but exert them differently.

Sounds harsh. You need to arm yourself. And put up high walls and barbed wire fences additionally to it. Also put up signs that people will be shot on your property. Get some vicious dogs.
