Forums - Nintendo - EA says FIFA for Switch is FIFA 18, reiterates that it’s “custom built”

i think the visuals would be the same.
The development pass from more than that.
The specific vancouver team is working more on adapting controls, to work with a single joy-con(there are missing buttons, they have to adapt someway), HD rumble.

People only think about visuals when talking that other developer is making it...

I don't see why not.

I just think it's pretty high-risk. FIFA is the lifeblood of EA as an entity. I don't know if they'd want to gamble showcasing a version that will at best account for 20% of sales?

I mean, I think it's EA who wants it. That's the kind of stuff that EA asks for from console manufacturers.

All that matters is that Nintendo and EA have an exclusive marketing deal for it. As long as that happens, it could be based on a PS2 build and it would still sell.

hmm, considering Microsoft have had that on lockdown for the last few years that seems unlikely. They're not likely going to give it up without a fight.

Microsoft had CoD marketing on lockdown too.

They also should put PvsZ GW2 that game is hell lot of fun!

20% would be a lot considering what it's selling on PS4 and Xbone

Yeah but Nintendo don't seem the type to want to outbid Microsoft for marketing deals.

We're looking at a very different Nintendo.

Can't wait which features it doesn't have when the actual Fifa 18 comes out.

The Journey most likely. Requires Frostbite.

Every time I open a new thread, I scan for your comments: keep up the good work.

There are easier ways to get your daily dose of the viv.

I don't think it will sell well regardless, but hope it does because 3rd party support is pretty vital D:

I almost never buy 3rd party games on Nintendo consoles, because most of the time there are better versions available for other platforms. The same with fifa. I really like this series but I would never buy a version on a Nintendo platform. However the thought that I could play a full fledged console fifa on the go is really exciting and if executed with enough care I will get this game. Hopefully more people will pick this up so we can have updates going forward.

Think for yourself, question authority

I wonder if they manage this time to have the exact same game with the same mechanics that is not tied to the rendering engine.
