Nioh review is still in progress, from that site, so it's only normal it wasn't accounted on metacritic yet. |
Yeah thats what I mean. There has been plenty of time to me, if playing games is their job.

the double score is probably counted on the average too, lol. You can email them though. They actually respond and adjust if you give them new information.

I already did, back when Disgaea 5 got localized, and they neither answered or fixed it up until today. One site they take revoews from have a ABC system, with -/+ as well, and they would always take the score one level under what was actually public posted, for example, Disgaea got a B+, which is a 85 , but they posted it as a 75 which is a B-, they had different scores for a lot of games that site reviewed, with either a level or half a level under it. I e-mailed them about it, e-mailed the site own table of scores weights, told about that happening in other games, and they never answered me, or fixed it. |
Really? I emailed them twice about Nioh and both got replied to. I told them about some missing reviews and asked if these or that publication is included on MT and they responded. The second time I told them again about other reviews that they have yet to include and they updated it a few minutes later with those exact reviews I emailed them about.

Is it better than Dark souls 3. And same hard? I cant even finish it without cheating.
And can i play as pure mage with OP spells?

You can probably but it will be hard. You need to at least have a weapon(or you can have bare-handed if you want)to attack opponents. Magic spells can severely slow down and debuff your opponents, and add even more damage to your normal attacks but offensive spells don't do much damage and are very limited as well even with the unlimited magic skill(gives you a specific percentage of a chance of not depleting your item stock/spell when used). So yeah, magic can dramatically make fights easier but it is not meant to be used alone.

| BraLoD said: Nioh is really on the edge to rise to 88, maybe just another 90 can put it there. |
Yeah, a perfect score or 9 at least by Edge will settle it there.

Nioh and Horizon are 2 weeks apart from another and they both scored in the high 80's for PS4 exclusives. I wonder if Nier will do the same. Either way, that's damn good for these console exclusive games.

I don't think Nier will do that well, but I still think it can land around 83-84. |
Agreed. I was thinking 81-82 range myself. Still, that's a lot of great rating exclusives though for PS4. Then (us westerners) get Persona 5 in April. Sony is already killling half the year with exclusives. It's crazy!
